Bethesda Temple House of Mercy is hosting a Praise Celebration & Dedication Weekend! We are dedicating our new building & school. What better way to start a celebration than with united PRAISE!
We are calling on the anointed dance, flag and pageantry ministers from the Metro Illinois and Greater St. Louis area to help us set the atmosphere with radical praise and worship. Will you join together with us as we lift up the name of JESUS?

When is the event & rehearsal times?
The Praise Celebration is Friday March 23rd. We will need the dance ministers in place by 6:00 pm
The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
- Saturday Feb 18th from 12:30 - 3:00 pm
- Saturday Feb 25th from 12:30 - 3:00 pm
- Saturday Mar 3rd from 12:30 - 3:00 pm
- Saturday Mar 10th from 12:30 - 3:00 pm
- Saturday Mar 17th from 12:30 - 3:00 pm
What will we wear at the event?
We will wear praise garments consisting of any combination of WHITE, PURPLE and/or GOLD
If you don't have garments, there may be a small fee to purchase garments. We will also see if there are extra garments.
If there is a need to purchase garments, fundraising is an option. BOTTOM-LINE: Don't let praise garments hinder your participation. We are dedicated to working it out!
What should I wear to rehearsals?
Modest loosefitting clothing. Palazzo pants and T-shirts will be appropriate. Sweat suits and jogging suits are ok as long as they are not form fitting. NO JEANS as they restrict movement. NO muscle shirts, cut-off tees, or graphic/logos/text that would be deemed inappropriate.
What should I bring to rehearsals?
Bible, pen, paper, water bottle
What is the age group?
We are accepting participants ages 7 & up
Can I bring people to watch?
We prefer that you do not bring outside guests. We find a closed rehearsal more effective. Please encourage guests to attend the actual event on Friday, March 23rd. Of course, if it can't be helped, we will not turn anyone away. Children should be old enough to sit through rehearsals with minimal supervision.
Do I need dance experience?
NO! If you are a seasoned dance minister or 1st time participant, we have a place for you. The only requirement is a TEACHABLE SPIRIT and a HEART of WORSHIP
Is this just for females?
Absolutely NOT! In fact, we need 4-8 male dance ministers to carry in certain items during our procession
What song will we minister?
The name of the song along with a link where you can listen online will be sent with your registration confirmation.
What all will we learn?
You'll learn choreography that includes Davidic dance, processionals, flags, billows, and modern/ballet techique. We'll also conduct mini-seminars to teach on the importance of colors, garments, dance in the Bible, and much more!
